Hello,
a bit about me:
My name is Carina Crucho, I am 39 years old and I am a Junior Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal. I am an organic chemist performing creative and imaginative research in the field of Nanotechnology, particularly in the synthesis and development of nanomaterials for biomedical applications. I am full of enthusiasm, I have the right drive, and genuine interest in teaching and in science. This is corroborated by the awards/honours that I already received, from which I would mention, the L’Oréal Award, the International Visitor Leadership Program administered by the United States Department of State, the CAS Future Leaders Program and the Fulbright research grant. Additionally, I was selected for the list of top 2% of scientists that focuses on single-year impact (2019) according to a study carried out by Stanford University to assess the impact and consolidated influence of a given scientist or institution in the progress of scientific knowledge.
